Pyrenees Wineries Tour

Join us for a day touring the cool climate Pyrenees wineries region, just one hour from Ballarat.

Lunch is included. Bring your own snacks for the bus. Bottled water provided.
You will be picked up or meet at a designated location in Ballarat at 9.30am.

First stop will be the historic town of Percydale for a private, guided tour by a local historian. 

Your first wine tasting will be at the certified Australian Organic Mount Avoca winery.  The estate is made of up more than 60 acres of diverse varietals including Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, all producing award winning wines. The vines are also accompanied by an olive grove of 1000 trees.

Next stop is the Blue Pyrenees estateTheir wines are made from grapes grown in their vineyards and produced in their estate winery.  The winemakers are committed to making authentic, world class-quality wines.  Their cellar door building provides a superb vantage point from which to taste the wines and learn about the winemaking process.

Lunch here at the Blue Pyrenees estate including a glass of wine.  Vegetarian and gluten-free options available.

After lunch we head to the family owned and operated Summerfield Winery.  The Summerfield family has been growing grapes and transforming them into deep, hearty, bold reds for more than 40 years.

Next door is our final winery, Taltarni Vineyards.  One of the founding wineries in the Pyrenees region, they are leading the way in sustainable viticulture with a deep commitment to protecting the soil, air, water and energy to produce their quality, estate-grown wines.

From here you will be dropped back at your designated location in Ballarat.

Tour time: 8 hours approx.  9.30am pick up – approx 5pm drop off.
Minimum of six, maximum of 11 people
